My wife Crystal and I recently had the opportunity to go on our anniversary/vacation to the Big Island of Hawaii. I blew the wad on my frequent flyer miles on United and secured us first class tickets. We stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa Resort and it was tops; first class all the way. It was our first trip like this in 12 years.

When I was booking the trip with my long time travel agent, she asked me what my primary purpose was for going to Hawaii. I responded by saying I only wanted to relax. I wanted no schedule, no sightseeing, no pressures. I wanted to get up when I felt like it. If I wanted to take a nap I would. I wanted to eat whenever I desired. I just wanted to veg.

One day while I was laying by the pool enjoying listening to the ocean, catching some rays, and relaxing with Crystal by my side I had a revelation. This is exactly how God intended life to be! The Garden of Eden was designed by God for man to enjoy; enjoy God, each other, and relax. God didn’t intend for man to feel "pressure" and worry. God didn't intend man to have to labor. He intended mankind to relax, take a nap when desired, eat when hungry.

While in Hawaii I felt I had a better understanding of God's intention.

Well, I'm back now and hard at work. I fly out again tomorrow morning and have a service on Saturday night and 3 on Sunday morning. I'll be back in the office on Monday. Bummer about that blasted apple!!!!
