speakers

Pete Bullette

Pete Bullette is the director of Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at the University of Virginia. He and his wife, Amy, pioneered the ministry 9 years ago.  God has done great things at UVA. Chi Alpha at UVA now has over 300 students regularly involved. Pete and Amy have a 5 year old son, Ian. Pete is a graduate from Southern Illinois University and after his schooling worked briefly in St. Louis as a public accountant. Pete has a passion to see students enter into a relationship with Jesus and to see students grow deeper in their walk with Him.

Curt Harlow

Curt and his wife Kelly are currently Directors of West Coast Chi Alpha. They live in the Sacramento area (no they haven't seen Arnold personally yet) and spend long but fun days planting new Chi Alpha groups all over Arizona, California, Hawaii and Nevada.

To do this, Curt travels extensively. Known as a dynamic speaker who uses stories and humor to bring home serious truth and real Biblical content, he does on-site training, mobilization of student groups, assistance for church based campus ministries and helps full-time campus pioneers establish groups on unreached campuses.

Dr. Harv Herman

Dr. Harv Herman started working with Chi Alpha when these songs were number one hits: Bad, Bad Leroy Brown; Crocodile Rock; and Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree. He presently serves as the national director of missionary training. He cooks a pretty spicy chili and makes his own noodles for chicken noodle soup. He has been married to his bride, Sally, for 36 years.

Sarah Malcolm

Sarah was a student in Chi Alpha at Missouri State University before moving to Scotland in 2004 and pioneering a Chi Alpha-type ministry called Radiate. Radiate experimented with unconventional evangelism methods to reach students in a post-Christian environment. Through creativity and community building Sarah & her team witnessed God working in the lives of Scottish students. In May 2009 Sarah returned to the states to join the National training and resource team with Chi Alpha. She is married to handsome Rob (who sports a cool accent) and they have baby boy named Cameron who is often typically referred to as 'Boy Wonder'.

Eric Treuil

Eric Treuil came to faith in Jesus Christ during his third year of university. As a student, he helped pioneer Chi Alpha Campus Ministry at Nicholls State University in Lousiana.

He and his wife of 24 years, Anabelle Garcia, re-pioneered Chi Alpha at the University of Louisiana - Lafayette in 1987 serving there ever since. They have three children: Ana Cristina, Victoria, and Benjamin. Their ministry to students on a local and National level has made a significant impact in the Chi Alpha movement. Eric's sense of humor will have you laughing and bring a smile to your face while his passion for Jesus and the lost will bring tears to your eyes and motivation to your heart.

Gina White

Gina White currently serves as the campus pastor at UNC Chapel Hill. She is a UNC grad and upon graduation, did a Chi Alpha internship at Georgetown University. She then returned to UNC and joined staff in 2003. She continued working with UNC XA and became the director in 2006. Gina got married last summer and resides with her husband in Chapel Hill. She is a huge fan of UNC basketball, is a novice chef, and could easily be confused for a Brit given all the hot tea she drinks.
